Helicopter Starting System for Philippines

Whippendell Marine has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of two Helicopter Starting Systems (HSS) for the Philippines Navy.
The testing was witnessed by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) who are building the two vessels at their yard in South Korea.
The systems will support flight operations on the Jose Rizal class frigates, providing ground power to embarked aircraft in the hangar and on the flight deck.
